Some time ago, my husband and I found Bay Area Whip Dance Club. The convenient location, the dedication of the instructors, and great social atmosphere has led to 12 years of fun and fellowship that I would not trade. The Club strives to be sure each student learns the foundational basics of West Coast Swing and that has allowed us to go anywhere in the World and be able to dance with others.

Testimonials on BAWDC
I was introduced to the Bay Area Whip Dance Club by happenstance. I was invited to a fifth week party by an acquaintance. I was fascinated watching the people dance so I came back for an introductory lesson the next week. I’d had little to no real dance instruction. That was nearly six years ago, the fun goes on. I have made great friends and have had an absolutely marvelous time, on the dance floor or in the coffee shop. We laugh together, cry together and most importantly dance together. “Dance like no one is watching”!

After 20 years of not dancing, I was made aware of BAWDC, and as a result my husband and I have now been dancing for three years. There is dance class on Tuesday’s and social dancing on Thursday’s, so we have two date nights a week. I was simply looking to be able to dance a slow dance at a wedding or reunion, but now my husband is blazing a trail with me on the dance floor.
