BAWDC Depends on Volunteers!
Thanks to numerous hours of dancers volunteering, the Bay Area Whip Dance Club is in it's twentieth year! Whip/West Coast Swing and Lindy dancing are available through BAWDC. The club "works" because of volunteers. Parties are planned and set up by volunteers, the person checking you in at the door is an unpaid volunteer, the newsletter is published and distributed with the help of many volunteers, these web pages are maintained by volunteers, volunteers set up/clean the lesson facility on class nights, play music, and teach dance lessons. All are volunteers and receive no pay from Bay Area Whip Dance Club or its members. You can help! Ask at the front desk on lesson night or contact any officer or instructor volunteer opportunities. Volunteering is fun and keeps the club running smoothly.
